Truly Great Coffee

Roasting coffee transforms the chemical and physical properties of green coffee beans into roasted coffee products. The roasting process is what produces the characteristic flavor of coffee by causing the green coffee beans to change in taste.

We are intimately involved in the process from:

Farm to roast and extraction!

Sourcing 'the farm' where it starts! We cant deliver quality without quality beans and it is therefor essential that we source the best beans.

Roasting is a refined skill, if this is not done properly you can't pronounce the origin!

There are over 1000 chemical reactions in this intense process , we are manipulating heats throughout the process and during all of this the seeds themselves goes through stages.

Why Ethical
Coffee Matters

If you care about where your food comes from, you should consider buying ethically sourced coffee. Maybe you already buy certified organic produce because you are concerned about the effects of pesticides. It’s pretty easy to tell how locally produced organic foods, like apples, contribute to the local community and to the planet. You can buy your produce directly from the farmer and sometimes even see their growing and harvesting methods first hand. For imported goods like coffee or chocolate, however, that kind of transparency is not usually possible. This means it is harder to be sure that your coffee beans are both sustainably grown and ethically sourced.
